Daniela Vettori was born in Rome in a creative family: her mother was a painter, her father a photographer and interior designer. As a child she revealed an early and independent artistic talent, which she strengthened at the art school in via Ripetta. Her first true passions (drawing, painting and sculpture) have since then found full expression in the world of jewellery.

In the 70s she developed in Vicenza - city of goldsmiths since 1300 - her craftsmanship and stylistic research. She worked with traditional goldsmith methods and then extracted her highly personal techniques that have become her hallmark. She creates her jewellery in yellow gold and silver entirely by hand, with her favourite techniques: the lost wax casting, the fire and the hammer that transform the metal.

Her creations are inspired by her passion for dance, from which she takes the movements of shapes, as well as by her love for nature, of which she uses precious and unusual stones, and finally by the visual arts, from which she captures the spirit of our time.

Daniela Vettori has participated in exhibitions and events dedicated to artistic jewellery in Italy, New York, Washington, Boston, Tokyo, Johannesburg, Annecy. Her creations are sold and appreciated across Europe, the USA and Japan.
