Villa Almerico Capra also known as "La Rotonda"

Designed and built for Msgr. Paolo Almerico by Andrea Palladio around 1570, the house passed to the family Capra in 1591. In 1911 it became property of the Valmarana family that has opened it to the public since 1986.

Villa La Rotonda is open to visits by individuals and groups

OPENING TIME:

Open daily (except Mondays):

From March to November: from 10:00 to 12:00 and from 15:00 to 18:00.

From November to March: from 10:00 to 12:00 and from 14:30 to 17:00.

WINTER:

From November 2013 to March 2015: private and exclusive visits and visits to the exteriors depend on staff availability - with the following hours: from 10:00 to 12:00 and from 14:30 to 17:00 - in case of bad weather conditions, the premises may close without prior notice.

HOW TO GET THERE:

By car: Motorway A4, exit Vicenza Est, direction Riviera Berica.

By train: up to Vicenza and then by bus (nr. 8) from the railway station to the Villa.

PARKING:

By car and bus: at the first Shell petrol station in Viale Riviera Berica or, in the same street, opposite Villa La Rotonda.
